Plant-based or vegetarian rennet serves the same purpose as regular rennet, which is to coagulate proteins in milk to make vegetarian cheeses.
The vegetarian rennet is made enzymes collected from vegetable sources such as fig leaves, melons, safflower and wild thistle.
Our rennet works great for all sorts of cheeses.
